Opened in 1921, the club provides a social focal point for ex-servicemen and the local community. Three ever-changing guest ales are offered alongside the regular beer. A public bar and games area boasting three snooker tables and a pool table is complemented by a more comfortable lounge and function room that can be hired out. All major sports events are shown on tv. Non members are allowed entry provided they sign the visitors' book. Quiz night Tuesdays. Outside is a bowling green.
