See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

A former CAMRA National Club of the Year, this local and regional CAMRA multi-award winning club is a beacon for real ale in a relative desert. Sports feature heavily here with on-site squash courts as well as the main cricket pitch and crown green bowling. The club has been awarded Clubmark accreditation from the England & Wales Cricket Board. A popular beer festival is held, usually in July. Food is available Wednesday to Saturday evenings plus Sunday lunchtime, with Curry and a Pint on Wednesday and Steak nights Thursday and Friday. The lounge has been extended and refurbished to accommodate 90 people with both this and the extended function room bookable for private parties. Poker night Mondays. During the cricket season from mid-April to mid-September the bar opens 1:30pm on Saturdays. Show your CAMRA membership card for admission.
