Historic coaching inn dating from 1565 and extensively rebuilt in Georgian times. The Swan has a stone-flagged Tap Room and numerous rooms and alcoves for dining and drinking. Friendly and efficient staff dispense up to four cask ales as well as good food throughout the day in a convivial atmosphere. Upstairs the Hunt Room, dating from 1762, houses original works of art. Mini beer festivals are staged. Disabled access is through the car park at the rear. Use street parking when the car park is full.
